Overview
Valley of Flowers at Statue of Unity is one of the major Attractions Near Statue of Unity located at Kevadia Colony in Gujarat. At present in the first phase, the Valley of Flowers is developed in 250 hectares of the area; in the later phase it is going to develop in 3000 hectares the total area of the valley will be 3200 hectares. In this valley, two lakes named Poyani and kamal are developed.
The entire area of Valley of Flowers is covered with a drip irrigation system that was used in the flower of the valley. The Statue of Unity is surrounded by nearly 17 km long covering of colorful flowers along the banks of River Narmada to make the spot approaching a rainbow of flowers setup on earth.
The Valley of Flowers Located at Kevadiya, Gujarat have more than 100 variety of flowers like Gulmohar (red), Champo (white), Khakhro (red), Pongaro (red), shrubs like Galtora (red and yellow), Tecoma (yellow), Garmado (yellow and red) Bougainvillea (yellow pink, white, and red) Nerium, and climbers like bamboos Wadeliya, Allamanda Cathartica, and, Qualisis and colorful grasses, all seasons flowers like Calendula, Sunflower, Vinca, Marigold, and others are planted in Valley of Flowers.

The Valley of Flowers (also known as Bharat Van), is spread across 24 acres of land and is a haven for colorful flowering plants along the bank of river Narmada. The Valley of Flower began with 48,000 plants in 2016 and has now reached up to 22,00,000 plants. Besides the parks, several photo booths and Selfie Points at Valley of Flowers have been developed to take back fond memories of the visit. The spot resembles a rainbow of flowers setup on earth.
More than 300 types of flowers are grown in this Valley of Flowers at The Statue of Unity. A right blend of ornamental flowers, trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers and creepers are planted along with various shades of foliage, which forms the green cover in this area. The amalgamation of these species makes this small area enchanting, flamboyant and intriguing. The picturesque site and an enthralling view of the Statue of Unity certainly captivate the visitors always. This vibrant landscape is also a site for a charismatic flower show every winter.
