The Statue of Unity is a tribute to the Indian leader Sardar Patel, unveiled on 31 October 2018. This statue is a patriotic symbol of the legacy of a man who spent his life in the struggle for freedom. As a mark of respect, statue is located at his birthplace in Gujarat. The statue is designed by Ram V. Sutar. The total amount for the project is US $430 million. The statue stands 182 metres high, making it one of the tallest monuments in the world, second to the St. Louis Arch.

The Nearest Railway Station to the Statue of Unity is located in Kevadiya (KDCY), followed by Vadodara (BRC). If you arrive at the Vadodara railway station, You can get on the public transport or book a cab to take you directly to the Statue of Unity.
The Nearest Airport to the Statue of Unity is located in Vadodara (BDQ). The Vadodara airport is about 90 kilometres away from the site. From the airport, you can hire a cab or use the state transport to get to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue. A seaplane service will be started from Ahmedabad to Statue of Unity but due to some reason it’ll stop within 3-4 months after it starts.
